Malaria is a serious tropical disease spread by the bite of certain mosquitoes and it affects around thirty thousand international travellers every year. If it is not diagnosed and treated promptly, it can be fatal.
The aim of this course is to provide you with an overview of the different types of Malaria and where they are present, how to reduce your changes of becoming infected and, if the worst case scenario should happen, what to do in the event that you suspect you may be infected.
