With noise pollution increasing, protecting our hearing is something we all need to be aware of. It is impossible to avoid all noise; and who doesn’t like to listen to music, drive fast cars, watch movies and be part of sporting crowds.
However, these are your own choices in your own free time. If you work in a noisy environment, however, your employer has a legal duty to provide you with adequate hearing protection.
