Some fittings look very similar to the naked eye, when in actual fact they are very different. Incidents have occurred where the incorrect fitting has been used and subsequently blown out causing damage to equipment and even worse, serious injuries or even death to personnel. This course will teach you how to identify many common fittings and use them safely. Taking a little time to understand this course could make a big difference.
Many pressure related injuries in the energy industry are caused by the misuse of small bore pressure fittings. This misuse is usually the result of incorrectly identifying the selected fitting, and not understanding how to use it correctly. This course will look at pressure ratings and teach you how to identify and use the most common compression type fittings correctly.
